Yeah, me too. Trust me I hear you! I’ve been there more times than I can count.
I mean, starting anything new can feel a little daunting. Especially when overrun by so much information. It can stop you dead in your tracks. Or it can send you on a wild goose chase after empty promises made by media, organisations, “experts”, and well meaning people, all telling you the “right way” to live – how to eat, lose weight, exercise, give birth, parent – even how to think! It’s enough to drive you bat-shit crazy.
So where do you begin?

In a fast paced world, we’re on information overload. We’re masters of disconnection, leaders of overcomplicated lives. As we drown ourselves in a world of “stuff”, technology and online “expertise” to find the “connections” we crave, it highlights we’re way out of our depth. We’re more stressed out, overweight, sicker, lonelier and unhappier than ever. In our search for fulfillment – in search for the “something-that-is-missing-but-we-can’t-put-our-finger-on-it” – the lines of true health have well and truly been blurred.
We’re making life hard for ourselves.
But whilst it all sounds pretty doom and gloomy, the cool part is – it DOESN’T have to be this way.
And that’s where I come in.

Naturally, I’ve been faced with my own challenges – Physically, Spiritually and Emotionally. Undergoing major spinal surgery as a teenager, and weight gain and depression as an adult, my quest for knowledge and my experiences (with the band-aid mentality of the medical and fitness industries) inspired me to uncover the real meaning of “true health”.
Throughout my personal journey, including my role as a personal trainer, and my progression as a Holistic Lifestyle, Nutrition & Exercise Coach, I’ve learnt many things – all of which highlight how unique and individual we truly are. As with our fingerprints – no two people are ever the same! In saying that, we do all share one very common trait – our bodies are merely a reflection of what is going on within. Because of this, it makes further sense that the approach to Health and Wellbeing needs to specifically address a persons needs (rather than leaving out missing pieces of the puzzle).
My role is to assess and address the underlying causes of sub-optimal health (rather than just the symptoms) by focusing on the foundational principles of life. Through the thoughts we think, the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, the way we move, the sleep we get - each component plays a crucial role in how we function, on a physical and emotional level.
